Member Mission Training

Deacons of the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada, 4/7-9/10; to provide orientation to and practice in using resources enabling members to discern their individual missions in each of their seven daily mission fields. Deeper goal is to build their excitement about the vision of every member on mission 24/7/365 and their commitment to helping their churches to integrate into their life.

Thursday evening:
April 7th

4:00pm-5:00pm                       Check-in and social gathering

5:00pm -6:00pm          Supper at St. Jude’s

6:00pm-8:00pm                       Reporting on diaconal ministries
8:30pm-8:30pm                       Compline

 

Friday:
April 8th

Breakfast on your own

9:00am – 9:30am         Morning Prayer
9:30am – 12:00pm      Member Mission – God’s mission, baptism, and our daily missions; stories

12:00pm – 2:00pm      Lunch at St. Jude’s and free time

2:00pm- 5:00pm          Member Mission – Discerning some of our own daily missions more clearly
5:00pm – 5:30pm        Diocesan matters
5:30pm – 6:00pm        Greeting from St. Jude’s

6:00pm - 7:00pm         Supper at St. Jude’s

7:00pm – 8:30pm        Member Mission – Practice in finding a teammate for one of your missions
8:30pm – 9:00pm        Compline

 

Saturday:
April 9th

Breakfast on your own

9:00am – 11:00am       Member Mission – Helping our members to discover their own daily missions; ongoing support
11:00am – 12:00pm                Eucharist
