What’s in a word? “Mission” and “missionary” are good words but they carry a lot of excess baggage. They are bad words for many. Find out if this is true for the people you are about to work with. If it is a bad word for them, try the following.

Brainstorm:
1. What is bad about mission and missionaries?
2. What is good about mission and missionaries?
