A way to live a mission in your daily work:
At work, be kind and forgiving even when others are hard and unforgiving with you.
Base on Matthew 5:38-48
A way to live a mission in your daily work based on Matthew 5:38-48, a reading from the Revised Common Lectionary for the Seventh Sunday after the Epiphany, 2/19/17. Jesus continues the contrast between the traditions about how to live with his own teaching about how to live. Do not retaliate when you are abused by others. Do more then what is asked for or begged for. As for your enemy love him or her; do not hate. The same applies to persecutors. Love because God cares for all equally. Loving those who love you and being friendly to those who befriend you means little. Be perfect in loving everyone. [Note that we all fall short of living as God wants us to live.]
A theme: Be loving in all situations; especially when it is hard.
