A way to live a mission in your home and with your friends based on Matthew 10:40-42, a reading from the Revised Common Lectionary for the Forth Sunday after Pentecost, 7/2/17.
Matthew ends Jesus’ instructions to the disciples. The disciples are received by being fed and listened to. If you listen to and obey a righteous man you receive the same rewards righteous men receive. The reward is being received by God. Any who help Jesus’ disciples just by offering a cold drink will receive the reward of being received by God.
Theme: To help and to obey Jesus’ disciples is rewarded by being received by God (Him who sent Jesus).
